Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
New Century Tutoring ("we," "us," or "our") is owned and operated by Dewey Potts in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect through newcenturytutoring.com and our tutoring services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you send us: your name, phone number, email address, and message when you use the "Talk with a tutor now" button, the contact form, or the free ACT/SAT exam form.
- Enrollment and billing details: the parent's name, email, phone number, billing address, and student's name when you sign up for a tutoring plan. Card and bank account numbers are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store them.
- Account sign-in: if you sign in with Google to view your billing, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access your Google account data.
- Tutoring information: information about your student's needs, goals, schedule, and progress that you share with us or that we record during tutoring, which we use to plan sessions and send progress reports.
- Basic technical data: like nearly all websites, our hosting provider automatically processes information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries by phone call, text message, or email
- To match your student with a tutor and schedule and provide tutoring sessions
- To send progress reports and updates to parents
- To process payments, send receipts, and manage your subscription
- To protect the website from spam and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Phone calls and text messages

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us you'd prefer not to be texted. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Children's privacy
Our services are for students of all ages, but we collect information from parents and guardians, not directly from children. Enrollment, payments, and account sign-in are completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and enrollment information for as long as needed to provide services and for our business and tax records, then delete it. Payment records are kept by Stripe as required by law.
